Amor e sexualidade na velhice, direito nem sempre respeitado

Abstract

In many of the researches that are accomplished it is evidenced that the affectionate-sexual relationships has been considered a domain practically exclusive of the young people, of the people with good health and physically attractive. The idea that the elderly people can also maintain sexual relationships is not culturally accepts, being preferred to ignore and to do to disappear of the imaginary collective the elderly person's sexuality. However, the love and the elderly' sexuality, in anything differ, in the intensity, of the love among young people. In spite of the prejudices, of the taboos and of the archaic stereotypes, with which the elderly people face, when it is treated of fall in love and sex among young partners the more time, it is necessary that those challenges are faced with the maturity that the age brings. It is done necessary, therefore, to end with the myths, to break the obsolete paradigms, so that aging is compatible with a good life quality.
