Abstract

Considering the existence of barriers that hinder the teaching of topics related to sexuality and gender in the school environment, this research, resulting from a master's thesis and adopting a qualitative, descriptive, exploratory, and documentary approach, aims to present an open educational resource: a catalog of educational games focused on teaching sexuality and gender, based on a mapping conducted across websites. A total of 86 educational games were identified, and their characteristics were systematized into a proposed catalog containing information on authorship, year of release, access, target audience, classification, theme, and educational objectives. Content analysis revealed five thematic categories that demonstrate the diversity of approaches present in these materials and support their critical use in the school context, contributing to a critical, emancipatory, and human rights-oriented sexual education.
