This article analyzes a university podcast linked to an observatory dedicated to the study of school violence, understood as a practice of public communication of science. The aim is to investigate how digital media translates and communicates scientific knowledge in an audiovisual and accessible language, promoting dialogue between university and society. The methodology combined content analysis (Bardin, 2011) and discourse analysis with a Foucauldian orientation, based on comments and metrics collected from the social network Instagram. The results indicate that the podcast operates as a discursive mediator, articulating science, media, and education, and promotes civic education through content that encourages reflection. It is concluded that initiatives of this nature contribute to the democratization of scientific knowledge and to strengthening a culture of listening, dialogue, and prevention of school violence.
