Periapical cyst: literature review and report of a clinical case

Abstract

The authors present a literature review and report a case of periapical surgery in a patient with large periapical cyst. The histopathological exam had as result abscessed periapical cyst. The follow-up period was set in eight months post-operative and showed bone repair with apical scar. Key words: periapical surgey; radicular cyst; chronic periapical lesion.
