Calcifying odontogenic cyst: literature review and surgical case presentation

Abstract

The authors present a literatu- re review and a surgical case of a young female patient with impac- ted third lower molar associated to a calcifying odontogenic cyst, producer of odontoma, which for being asymptomatic, was disco- vered in the routine radiographic examination whose objective was to evaluate the development phase of her third molars.
