Abstract

In this article, it is described an endodontic treatment accomplished in a young permanent tooth, with incomplete apex and necrosis ofthe pulpal tissue. After the chemical-surgical preparation, a calciumhydroxide- base paste was placed as delay dressing. Then, subsequent changes of this medication every three months were performed, aiming to obtain the root apical closure . After nine months, the formation of a hard tissue barrier was observed at apicallevel. After clinical and radiographic proof of the apical closure the canal was definitively filledwith gutta-percha points and endodontic sealer
