This study evaluated the relationship between artificial tooth movement with the em- bedding and polymerization proce- dures of maxillary complete den- tures bases. Twenty sets consis- ting of stone cast-wax plate base with artificial teeth were randomly assigned into 2 groups of 10 ele- ments each, receiving the following experimental treatments: Group 1- Embedding with silicone in fiber glass flasks and polymerization by microwave energy. Group 2- Em- bedding with gypsumin fiber glass flasks and polymerization by microwave energy. The I-I, PM- PM, M-M, RI-RM and LI-LM dis- tances were determined before and after denture base polymerization with a linear cornparator micros- cape (Olympus). The data were submitted to ANOVAand Tukey's test at a 5%of significance level. No statistically significant diffe- rence among the teeth linear dis- tances was observed.Downloads
