The obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS) is a complete and/ or partial obstruction of upper airways, resulting in absence (apnea) or reduction (hypopnea) of the flow of air into the lungs during sleep, causing a deterioration of one's quality of life. Treatment with intraoral appliances has recently gained importance through research that demonstrate the efficiency of the devices, which have specific characteristics and the correct positioning of the dental surgeon facing the problem of multidisciplinarity.
