Analysis of satisfaction of dental surgeons bounded with the basic health units from the north of Paraná
A qualitative and quantitative study in basic health units in Northern Paraná

The unified public health system (SUS) is a social process that holds permanent construction, being the continuous discussion about its model of care is of highest importance. Therefore, the present study aims to analyze the degree of satisfaction of dental surgeons bound to the Basic Health Units located in the North of Paraná state. It was carried out in an exploratory quantitative-qualitative approach, in which the data collection happened through an online semi-structured questionnaire, containing dissertations and multiple choice questions. Therefore, 24 dental surgeons were interviewed, mostly women (83.3%), between 20 and 40 years old (66,6%), which work as a general practitioner (45.8%). In terms of the insights of the SUS, 79.2% were satisfied with their work, but showed an intermediate satisfaction when compared with their wage (70.8%) and the infrastructure that the SUS offers related to their daily routine. Thereby, it is concluded that most participants rate their work in the public healthcare system as satisfactory, but their perceptions, according to the wage, appreciation, work team and workload resulting in a negative influence on their activities, requiring a deeper analysis of the working conditions of these professionals
