Abstract

Este artigo analisa as conseqüências ocorridas no sistema internacional com o fim da Guerra Fria, que tem como marcos a queda do Muro de Berlim (1989) e o fim da União Soviética (1991). Procura, assim, refletir sobre a situação do sistema internacional pós-Guerra Fria, partindo da discussão sobre a neo-hegemonia e a multipolaridade. Visa, com isso, construir um suporte analítico para a compreensão deste processo. Para tanto discorrerá sobre as transformações internacionais ocorridas com o fim da Guerra Fria, o debate sobre o declínio dos Estados Unidos e a emergência de outros pólos de poder político e econômico. Palavras-chave: Pós-Guerra Fria, multipolaridade, sistema internacional.
