Abstract

El centro minero de Potosí fue el gran motor económico de la región norte y centro del actual territorio argentino puesto que necesitaba para su desarrollo todo tipo de productos, de bienes y en especial de mano de obra. En consecuencia las actuales regiones norte y central de la Argentina se desarrollaron como productoras y proveedoras de cierto y determinados artículos. En todo este proceso la mano de obra esclavizada fue importante. En este trabajo analizaremos el rol que desempeño el tráfico y el trabajo de los esclavos en cada una de las jurisdicciones, con énfasis en la ciudad de Córdoba.
