Abstract

El artículo consiste en una revisión bibliográfica de últimas intervenciones en revistas académicas en torno a las relaciones entre historia y cine. El debate sobre el estatuto del lenguaje cinematográfico y sus potencias cognoscitivas, explicativas y/o pedagógicas puede ser relevado a través del breve recorrido que se ensaya en él. El intento por apostar a esas dimensiones de la producción cinematográfica, esplazando la concepción que considera a los filmes específicamente como fuentes históricas abre interrogantes que trazan borrosamente los límites y posibilidades de los vínculos entre la historiografía actual y el registro audiovisual.
