Imigração, colônias agrícolas e etnicidade: uma análise sobre discursos de identificação no Paraná

Abstract

Este artigo aborda narrativas presentes no relatório intitulado Campos Gerais: estudo da colonização, escrito por Albert Elfes, engenheiro agrônomo alemão. Publicado em 1973 pelo Instituto Nacional de Colonização e Reforma Agrária (Incra), o relatório apresenta os resultados do estudo que Elfes realizou sobre dezessete colônias agrícolas formadas por imigrantes oriundos da Europa e da Ásia e estabelecidas no Paraná entre 1877 e 1966. Busca-se analisar os discursos que identificam tais imigrantes, bem como as interpretações sobre as formas como estes estariam se integrando às populações com as quais entraram em contato.
