Its identity reflects values ​​rooted in its traditions, myths and rituals, passed down through generations. These people have a close relationship with their land, based on ancestral knowledge based on sustainability and perfect harmony with nature and the preservation of natural ecosystems, through agriculture, hunting and fishing activities practiced in a conscious and rational way in the use of land. natural resources. Such values ​​are constantly threatened by external pressures, such as deforestation, the unbridled exploitation of natural resources and the irregular occupation of land, to the detriment of efforts to preserve values ​​and territory, as an object of greater care, protection and management by the Public Authorities.
