The composite systems floors of steel and concrete are continually gaining space in the modern constructions due to fact that afford the design of free-plan projects, helping in the boosting of building ventures in virtue to the architectural flexibility generated by the large spans that composite systems floors are capable of win. Together with the popularization of the constructive typology, is growing preoccupation about its dynamic behavior, since the slenderness elements with reduced dimensions of cross sections, frequents in the composite systems floors of steel and concrete, make them more sensitive to vibratory effects. Although international design guides about vibrations present recommendations about the limit states of vibrations too based in the accelerating of floors, the nation’s standards offer recommendations only based with fundamental frequency of the structure and deflection their elements. However, the fundamental frequency yet the most important modal property for control of vibrations, since it is indispensable for determining the acceleration of a structure. Within this context, this work presents and compares analytical and numerical process for determining the fundamental frequency of composite systems floors of steel and concrete. With objective to compare the analytical methods with MEF for determining the fundamental frequency of composite systems floors of steel and concrete, was formed 36 structures compatibles with one design type-floor (12 with massive slab and 24 with composite slab diversify twice steel shapes).
