Abstract

The aging population has raised the interest of professionals, especially those related to health, to develop research that addresses the health of the elderly. One problem often found hitting the elderly population is the loss of function without the proper intervention of health, determining and causing numerous limitations, hence the change in quality of life. Relevant public health problems in this population, fractures and falls in morbidity are of great concern due to its frequency, high social and economic, and especially when causing an increase of dependency and institutionalization.
