Aesthetic functional rehabilitation of crown fractures in primary teeth

Abstract

The present paper approaches aspects of clinical interest related to aesthetic and functional rehabilitation of traumatized primary teeth with enamel and dentin fracture. In the described case report, clinical examination revealed primary upper central incisor enamel and dentine fracture without pulp exposition in a 4 years old boy. The choice for the treatment was the tooth reconstruction, using ExciteTM adhesive system in association with the Tetric CeramTM composite resin, in order to achieve an stomatognatic system functional and aesthetically balanced.
