Abstract

With the purpose of verifying the canal ramifications frequency and location in canines, eighty permanent teeth were studied. The teeth were shaped using step back technique. After the canines were filled with India-ink and cleared to be observed at the stereomicroscope (40x magnification). The results showed a high occurrence of ramifications, especially at the apical third. Key words: dental pulp cavity, endodontics, anatomy.
