Anterior guide reconstruction through orthodontics and laminate veneer - a case report

Abstract

This paper is a clinicl case report of an anterior guide re- construction through orthodontic treatment and laminate veneers. Associating literature review and clinical observation was possible to conclude that the anterior guide can be reconstructed with the as- sociation of orthodontic treatment and restorative dentistry in cases when patients do not want to be submitted to orthognatic surgery. In addition to a better function, the esthetics and phonetics will be improved by using a more conservative restoration as lami- nate veneers instead of using full crowns.
