Osteopetrosis: case report

Abstract

Osteopetrosis is a rare genetic disorder characterized by sclerotic bo- nes, hematological and neurological abnormalities. It can be divided into: infantile malignant osteopetrosis and benign autosomal osteopetrosis. The authors report a case of a male 9-years-old patient with infantile malignant osteopetrosis.
