Baby tooth decay

Abstract

This study is a literature review on the etiology and preventive measures of dental caries in babies. The diet influence, the best period for oral hygiene and the caries transmissible concepts were reviewed. The idea of multifatorial etiology of this disease is emphasized, considering the variations presented in this age. Key words: dental caries, babies.
