Abrasion produced by child dentifricies and toothbrushes: an in vitro study

The purpose of this in vitro study was to evaluate the abrasion on plexiglass specimens produced by toothbrushes-dentifrices association using a mechanical brushing apparatus. The data showed no statistical differences among the toothbrushes used in this investigation. Regarding to the dentifrices, Signal Kids produced the higher roughness values, followed by Tandy and Colgate Jr. Key words: abrasion, toothbrush, dentifricesDownloads
