Abstract

Autotransplantation of teeth has become a common procedure in oral surgery. Although dental implants and prostheses have proper indication in modern den- tistry as means of restoring lost dental elements to patients, the high costs of procedures makes the treatment unfeasible. Howe- ver there are situations where the transplants are an additional choice for the patient’s oral reha- bilitation. The authors describe an autogenous transplantation of a lower third molar to a lower se- cond molar alveolus. Key words: autogenous transplan- tation, third molar, oral surgery.
