Multiple root coverage: case report

Abstract

Several surgi cal procedures to treat local gingival recession have been reported by many authors. There is no description of a partic,: la~ technique to treat multiple gingival recessions and, therefore, many local corrective surgery procedures are used for these cases. This case study reports on corrective surgery to cover the root surface ofmultiple teeth using only one surgical procedure. The results were very satisfactory showing complete coverage of th~ multiple gingival recessions despite of different defect sizes: These observations were confirmed after one year, including a better creep attachment, which allowsone to concludethat the procedure used in this study can be successfully appl ied to multiple gingival recessions.
