Abstract

Nowadays, the demand ofthe pacients for a better quality and long-lasting dental treatment and the constant exhibition of perfect smiles by the media has given the Esthetic Dentistry a tough chal- lenge. The purpose of this resear- ch is to improve the civilians' kno- wledge about ceromers, a system ofmetal-free prosthesis, which are ceramic optimized polymers, rein- forced with fibers. These mate- rials present different commercial names such as the Targis-Vectris system, indicated for individual crowns and small prostheses.
