Abstract

Large modifications have been accomplished in Odontology undergraduate courses, aiming to form professionals which fit to the needs of the Brazilian population and Unique System for Health. For this, it becomes necessary the effective articulation of the health policies with education. Thus, it is the professor’s responsibility to make the knowledge process building easier to the students, giving them conditions to develop their own thoughts and speeches where thy can use learning and teaching active methodologies. This paper presents some of these different methodologies which allow the students to work with real problems, taking responsibilities and interacting with the population and health professionals of correlate areas.
