Este texto apresenta um estudo do conceito “representação”, que foi historicizado a fim de compreender não o momento em que foi cunhado, mas o seu percurso nas obras de alguns autores que escreveram sobre conhecimento e/ou memória, como possibilidades de reconstrução do passado. Tais autores escreveram com base na perspectiva do positivismo, do materialismo-dialético e da nova história cultural, entre os séculos XIX e XX. O propósito é conhecer os níveis, os significados e as dimensões de saber que foram representadas por eles. Palavras-chave: Representação. Memória.Conhecimento.Downloads
