RELAÇÕES DE GÊNERO E RESISTÊNCIAS CANTADAS NAS CANÇÕES-DESABAFO DE VANUSA

Este texto tem como objetivo demonstrar a importância de canções integrantes do repertório da cantora e compositora Vanusa; as músicas abordaram temas como violência contra as mulheres, tensões nas relações conjugais e dificuldades na maternidade durante as décadas de 1970 e 1980. Apesar da importância contida nessas palavras cantadas, em seus últimos anos, Vanusa não recebeu grande reconhecimento por sua contribuição social, advinda de sua trajetória artística. Desse modo, procuramos destacar a produção de um debate de gênero detalhadamente construído por meio de escritas, canto e performances, reconhecendo, ainda, que as reflexões presentes na obra da cantora denunciaram o sofrimento e o silêncio de tantas mulheres, bem como incentivaram a ruptura de ciclos de violência.
