O artigo aborda criticamente o primeiro ensaio de interpretação estrutural do processo histórico do Paraguai, Formación histórica de la nación paraguaya, escrito em 1962, por Oscar Creydt, que pouca repercussão teve na historiografia paraguaia e passou praticamente ignorado pela brasileira. O Ensaio foi escrito como esboço de tese de doutoramento a ser empreendida na Universidade de Moscou, jamais concluída.Downloads
