O fim da primeira década do século XXI marcou a consolidação do processo de integração sul-americano. Tal processo é fruto de tentativas de unidade iniciadas na década de 1950. Neste artigo, buscaremos discutir a história do processo de integração regional e aliança Argentina, Brasil e Venezuela para a consolidação deste processo.
