Planejamento de pós-guerra e os futuros passados

A questão da saída de guerra segue sendo ricamente debatida na historiografia, pois mergulhada em um período não mais ditado por uma guerra totalizante, mas tampouco marcado pela cessação da violência ou das representações odiosas do outro. Preocupado com tal contexto histórico, o presente texto procura oferecer uma análise dos ainda hoje pouco conhecidos Comitês de Planejamento de Pós-guerra dos beligerantes da Segunda Guerra Mundial, que funcionaram nos anos imediatamente anteriores e posteriores ao fim do conflito. Particularmente, a atenção será dada ao Joint Strategic Survey Committee of the United States e a suas preocupações sobre a construção, já durante a guerra, de instrumentos e recursos que garantissem uma certa ideia de futuro e de paz patrocinada por certos tipos de alianças do passado.
