A grande conspiração contra a continuidade da guerra, descoberta e reprimida no acampamento de San Fernando, em meados de 1868, é apresentada tradicionalmente como produto da imaginação paranoica do mariscal, por seus detratores, e justificada por seus defensores, apesar do caráter sumário dos julgamentos, sem direito à defesa, e do amplo uso da tortura. O artigo apresenta interpretações sobre o sentido social da indiscutível conspiração organizada em torno da família López e da dura repressão que ela motivou.Téléchargements
