As throughout its chapters, Bell Hooks (2018) will weave a thorough and at the same time didactic analysis with a clear and concise language about the main perspectives that are part of the feminist movement. From its historical foundations to contemporary times. By approaching topics such as: racial discrepancy; gender inequality; violence against women, children and even the male audience; capitalist patriarchal thinking; the boundaries between the public and the private regarding female participation in the feminist movement; the fear and prejudice spread by the media towards feminists; the relationship of domination between genders; the issue of sexual freedom; the introduction of a policy of incorporation of the homosexual public in the development of feminism, are some of the diverse and heterogeneous perspectives that are part of feminism and that Bell Hooks (2018), addressed in her book Feminism is for everyone: sweeping policies.
