Abstract

In 2018, the National Ombudsman's Office for Human Rights received over than 17 thousand sexual assault reports on Disque 100 hotline targeting victims of up to 18 years of age. As result, some game-based strategies were been developed to fight against child sexual abuse. One collaborative game comes up with a strategy for prevention of the sexual assault crimes. The game was evaluated by the present research in order to verify its quality, in both the educational and ergonomic sense. A preliminary analysis of the game pointed out contradictions against the games and experts recommendations. Therefore, a deeper evaluation of the game was carried out and modifications were proposed to treat such issues, leading to the redesign of the game according to the available literature. In the end, both versions were compared using the MEEGA evaluation methodology. The evaluation process executed concluded a better motivation and user experience for the new version of the game. As a result, this research brings a potentially promising game for the prevention of child sexual violence.
