Abstract

Child sexual violence is a worldwide public health problem because of its high prevalence as well as the psychological and social harm to victims and family members. In response to this problem, programs to prevent child sexual violence have been developed. In this work a strategy is defined to support the teacher to act as coordinator in a collaborative game for the prevention of child sexual violence. The developed game, titled Infância Segura, is based on the 3C Collaboration Model. The game enables communication, cooperation, and emphasizes teacher coordination. The results indicate that the game enables the teacher to act as coordinator in the prevention of child sexual violence. The game also allows the observation of the coordinator, who can analyze some evidence of violence manifested by the child both through interaction with the game and by natural manifestation.
