The Science, Art and Citizenship Symposia (S-CAC), held since 2002, constitute spaces for interaction among research and action groups in science–art studies, articulating science communication, the popularization of science, education, and communication with citizenship. This study conducted a documentary analysis of the history of the eleven editions of the symposia, based on materials available in digital media, social networks, and organizers’ archives, identifying speakers, researchers, participants, and their connections. A total of 202 speakers and organizers, 89 workshops, approximately 6,000 participants, 17 websites, and the participation of national and international institutions were recorded. The cartography of connections reveals the emergence of a network that, initiated in 2002, was formalized in 2021 as the Science, Art and Citizenship Network. This network presents a distributed configuration and a rhizomatic nature, characterized by multiple interactions, proliferations, and interconnections, whose developments foster national and international collaborations in constant expansion.
