Metástase de tumor renal em língua: relato de caso e atualização da literatura

Objetivo: Relatar um caso raro de metástase de carcinoma de células renais (CCR) em língua e ressaltar aspectos relevantes para o cirurgião-dentista. Materiais e Métodos: Paciente leucoderma, sexo masculino, 60 anos, com histórico de CCR com metástase óssea. Clinicamente, foram observadas lesão nodular no lado esquerdo da língua, medindo 2,3 centímetros em seu maior diâmetro, não ulcerada, assintomática, e também uma lesão nodular em couro cabeludo. O paciente foi encaminhado para um cirurgião de cabeça e pescoço e uma biópsia excisional foi realizada. Resultados: O exame histopatológico confirmou a natureza metastática das lesões em língua e em couro cabeludo, oriundas de um CCR. Conclusão: Embora a ocorrência de metástase na língua seja rara, é imprescindível que o cirurgião-dentista esteja atento a esta possibilidade, especialmente quando se trata de pacientes com histórico de tumor maligno.
