Lenguaje, Unidad y Orden: aspectos de la teoria de la paz social de Hobbes

Este artículo busca establecer una relación entre las dimensiones epistemológicas y políticas del trabajo de Thomas Hobbes, enfocándose en particular en el desarrollo de una teoría del discurso y el lenguaje en la primera parte de Leviatán, y la conexión de esta teoría del discurso y el lenguaje con Política y escatología hobbesiana. Al final del artículo pretendo demostrar que, a pesar de la incompatibilidad de la tesis rectora de Hobbes con el liberalismo político contemporáneo, podemos identificar en el trabajo del autor dos tesis fundamentales sobre legitimidad y representación que continúan guiando las demandas de inclusión e igualdad en las sociedades contemporáneas y liberales.
