This article has the dual objective of analyzing the reconfiguration of power in the digital age and discussing, taking into account its dangerous consequences in individual and social terms, the role of education in the construction of defensive attitudes towards that power, that today is essentially carried out by the great digital service platforms. The methodological option consists of taking advantage, for these purposes, not only of a vast collection of recent works but also of some important historical references, namely foucauldian ones. The organizational structure of the article includes three sections: the first deals with the reconfiguration of power in the era of digital transition; in the second one, the modus operandi of this new power is analyzed, in order to bring out, in all its strangeness and complexity, the category of technodigital governmentality; the third and last section poses the question of resistance to this insidious governmentality of the digital age and the possible contribution of education in this sense, considering the actions that seem pedagogically relevant in the school institution.
