The studies in this article aim to highlight certain issues that foster debates about the separation of the fields of Teaching and Education, even though both share many similarities. Subsequently, the text will address the challenges faced by Professional Master's programs at the beginning of their journey, as well as their achievements up to the present day. It also points out the lack of a clear definition of what constitutes technical-technological productions within the field of Education and whether these productions could be understood as equivalent to educational products. Additionally, the article discusses the lack of evaluative criteria in the field of Education, mentioning that the field of Teaching already has an evaluation framework and questioning whether these criteria could somehow be applied to area 38 or if it would be necessary to think of other criteria that deviate from the technicist character.
