The objective is to critically analyze CNE/CP Resolution 04/2024, which regulates teacher training, with the aim of identifying its implications for the promotion of human rights education in the school environment. The research is framed within a qualitative perspective, supported by a bibliographic and documentary review, with a descriptive and exploratory approach and qualitative data processing. As a result, it is highlighted that teacher training constitutes a fundamental axis for the consolidation of HRE in educational institutions. However, although CNE/CP Resolution No. 04/2024 mentions human rights, the absence of a clear training intention regarding the critical preparation of teachers to act in this field is evident, revealing the persistence of structural challenges in the effective incorporation of HRE into teacher training curricula.
