Abstract

Supported by ongoing research data, the aim of this article is to discuss the research on immigrant young children at public early childhood education centres and schools in the city of São Paulo, based on the paradigm of childhood studies, the legislation on children’s rights and daily social practices, highlighted in a brief review about the production of the area, to think about the relations between visibility, childhood and citizenship.
