Necessary Dimension Of The Philosophical Literacy Process!

Abstract

In 2022, a group of teachers from the Núcleo de Estudos de Filosofias e Infâncias - NEFI, of the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), held the first philosophical literacy course in Pau dos Ferros, RN. The inspiration was Paulo Freire - his life and educational practice, the pilot literacy project that he carried out in 1963, in the city of Angicos, RN, near Pau dos Ferros. From this experience a question arises: what makes philosophical literacy receive this name? In the text, written in a narrative form with questions that challenge those who are teachers, attention is placed on the form, on the hows or ways that were taken to develop this training. It is not intended to define the method to create philosophical literacy; on the contrary, also with Freire, it is stated that there is no pre-established method for this.
