This article presents the report and reflections of a praxeological nature from a supervised teaching internship experience carried out in 2023, with a group of teachers in training on the Portuguese as a Foreign Language (PLE) course at the Institute of Letters at the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA). The objective of this text is, therefore, to provide the public with the opportunity to learn about the planning and implementation of an undergraduate course offered within a teacher education course and, at the same time, to present the way in which practice and theory were articulated as an attitude of pedagogical praxis (FREIRE, 1974), considered necessary for a sensitive and reflective education (BORDA, 1985 and 2015) of (post)graduate teachers. The main issue addressed by this objective is the lack of reflection on teacher training in the field of Portuguese as a Foreign Language (PFL), whether at the undergraduate or graduate level, as well as the relatively low level of discussion about the effects of planning and supervised teaching in higher education. Thus, the article delves into discussions about the relationship between theory and pedagogical practice, as well as the connection between training in the field of sensitivity/awareness and conceptual reflection. For this reason, we have divided the text into initial considerations, the presentation of the course, the teaching internship in graduate studies and its planning, followed by a praxiological discussion of some key points that stood out throughout the course, and final considerations.
