In the scenario of neoliberalism as a hegemonic rationality with a claim to Totality, the reflection proposes to investigate what is the educational dimension of the neoliberal conception of innovation? Part of the discussion initiated by Benjamin and Polanyi who state that capitalism takes the form of a religious phenomenon whose basis, gain, underlies all decisions. It states that neoliberalism comprises the stage in which the theological dimension of capitalism manifests itself unequivocally and that, in turn, has in suffering, in the pressure for results and novelty, its permanent liturgy. Finally, it states that the neoliberal conception of innovation comprises the materialization of neoliberal theology. It concludes that neoliberalism is, in itself, an educational phenomenon insofar as it models neoliberal subjectivities and that today, in the ubiquitous discourse of innovation, one of its main ways of mobilizing its values and principles.
