In more recent times, the content-focused approach in educational contexts has been shifting due to initiatives aimed at implementing socio-emotional education in school practices. These environments, beyond delivering curricular content to students and providing adequate spaces for teachers, also bear the responsibility of promoting and enhancing the well-being of these stakeholders. Well-being, understood from a broader perspective in this study, is a vital component for prosperity throughout the life course. This article seeks to explore how education can act to promote well-being for Brazilian students and teachers through relationships, offering a reflection on how such positive bonds serve as resources for this promotion. The results indicate that investing in the quality of relationships within the school environment constitutes a relevant and promising factor for fostering well-being.
