Here, we present science communication as a strategy for incorporating controversies into the early years of Chemistry teachers training. To this end, we first emphasize the importance of addressing controversial topics in the classroom. Next, we explore science communication and its possibilities when combined with science teaching and the initial training of Chemistry teachers. This is a propositional article that includes suggestions for working with teachers to be using various scientific dissemination works.
