Educating and caring are linked within the scope of early childhood education. Parents and teachers occupy the role of agents of these functions, directly linked to the process of the child's subjective constitution. This article, adressed to early childhood education teachers, aims to introduce the clinical dimension as a reading operator in the field of teacher training based on the proposition of psychoanalytic reading operators of the process of subjective constitution, in order to interrogate what, the child and the teacher linked transferentially, can teach us about educational praxis. We chose to use the Psychoanalytic Monitoring of Children in Schools, Groups and Institutions (APEGI) instrument, and, more specifically, its axes, which highlight the child's psychic functioning from the age of 4, as operators of the child's reading in your bond with the educator.
