Pedagogical practices applied by teachers through new teaching and learning methodologies, considered as innovative, and defined as "active", is the central theme of the book: "Active methodologies for innovative education: a theoretical-practical approach", organized by Lilian Bacich and José Moran. The work is composed of chapters written by several authors that describe theoretical-methodological approaches applied in the classroom, and promote reflections on teacher education. It is divided into two parts: part I comprises chapters 1 to 6, which present experiences carried out in the classroom, and part II, which covers chapters 7 to 10, is based on the continuing education of teachers.
