The present work aimed to discuss the perspectives for the educational future of high school in the state of Bahia, at the time of the coronavirus pandemic experienced in 2020. The research brings a discussion from the attempt to approximate and identify some characteristics of technological education, remote and from distance in the current context of crisis with the spread of Covid-19. We adopted qualitative research, whose data collection instrument was a questionnaire with educators who are employees of high schools in Bahia, who report experiences in the current educational context in which they work. The data demonstrate that public policies will certainly begin to advance with regard to online education, although there is a need for them to become accessible to all. This involves multiple aspects: enabling access to computers and the internet, training managers, teachers and parents of families, developing appropriate materials, among others.
